Privacy Policy — Eye & Body Break

Eye & Body Break ("the Extension") is developed by Beijing Zhuao Science And Technology Co., Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the Extension.

1. Information We Don't Collect

The Extension is designed to operate entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. Specifically:

No browsing data — We never see which websites you visit, what tabs you have open, or what you're working on.
No personal information — We don't collect your name, email, location, or any identifiable information.
No analytics or tracking — There are no analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or telemetry in the Extension.
No data sharing — Since we collect nothing, there is nothing to share with third parties.

2. What Stays on Your Device

All Extension data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage.local API. This includes:

Reminder preferences (enabled/disabled, interval setting)
Daily break statistics (number of breaks, snoozes)
Theme preference (Pro users only)
License key (Pro users only)

This data never leaves your device and is automatically cleared if you uninstall the Extension.

3. License Verification (Pro Users)

If you upgrade to Pro, your license key is validated entirely on your device using a cryptographic checksum. No network requests are made to verify licenses — the Extension works fully offline.

4. Payment Processing

All payments are handled securely by Creem, our third-party payment processor. When you upgrade to Pro, you interact directly with Creem's secure checkout page. We do not receive or store your payment details (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.).

5. Permissions Explained

The Extension requests the following permissions, and here's exactly why:

Permission	Why It's Needed
`alarms`	To schedule hourly break reminders
`storage`	To save your settings and break stats locally
`notifications`	To show system notifications when no browser tab is focused
`scripting`	To inject the full-screen break overlay into your current page
`tabs`	To find your active tab for displaying the break overlay
`<all_urls>`	To inject the break overlay on any page you're viewing. This is required because Chrome extensions must declare host permissions for script injection.

6. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
